Our History

Our journey began in 2011, born from a vision to help the neediest in society. At the very core of CRIC is a deep-rooted commitment to alleviate the challenges faced by the most vulnerable in our society. Conceived with the dual aim of providing spiritual and physical nourishment, our initiative took its first steps towards creating a community where no one has to face the harsh reality of hunger or starvation.
In the early days, our primary focus was clear – ensuring food security. We embarked on a mission to guarantee that everyone, irrespective of their circumstances, has access to sufficient, safe, and nutritious food. For us, this wasn't just about filling stomachs; it was about creating a foundation for a healthy and active life, free from the fear of hunger.

Vision

CRIC's vision is centered on addressing the essential needs of the community with a deep commitment and guided by grace. The vision involves two key principles: understanding the need of each individual served and organizing relief programs on behalf of the mission in Canada. The goal is not only to fulfill immediate needs but to do so with grace and compassion. CRIC envisions a community where basic necessities are provided with kindness and understanding, embodying the essence of their mission.
Our Focus is to “Feed the Need”, and make every effort to identify and meet them.
“For I was hungry and ye gave me meat, I was thirsty and ye gave me drink I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked and ye clothed, I was sick and ye visited me, I was in prison and ye came unto me”
Matthew 25:35— 36
